Idris van Heffen

In his work Idris reduces visuals to simple lines, shapes and colours. His designs are abstract, but expressive. His imagery don't only show form, but also seems to reflect a rich world of thought. The simple style, details omitted, creates absurdity with an element of mystery.

Idris van Heffen studied at the Willem de Kooning Art Academy and St. Joost Academy in Breda. His illustrations have been used by an impressive set of clients such as MTV, Mercedes Benz, Nike, City of Rotterdam and the Van Gogh Museum.
