Katarina Jazbec

In 2014 I earned a BA in Economics from the University of Ljubljana. I gained international experience in managing media and communications at the Service Design Network in Cologne (2014 – 2015) and supporting business development at the Rotterdam Studio of International Consultancy Livework (2015 – 2016). Currently I am a team member of Engage Rotterdam, a platform for monthly events on design and social innovation.

As a photographer I have taken part in the international documentary photography workshop Fotopub every year from 2009 to 2013. In 2012 I participated in the group residency on conceptual photography in Berlin.

I research how to meet the other empathically with the help of literary fiction. How can audiovisual means and storytelling be used to invite the wider audience into a dialogue? I am interested in the questions of morality, identity and social inequality.
