Marko Peck

I grew up between vastly different places, speaking two languages, and receiving an international education. I have lived long-term in three countries and nomadically across more than a hundred. I do not entirely belong to any group and am an outsider to some degree no matter where I go. As an artist, I am able to share this perspective. With my work, I question what constitutes a sense of belonging. What is home, nationhood and identity? How are these expressed and how do we unite and divide ourselves? I believe these questions are among the most important of our time.
