Nikos Kostopoulos

I am a photographer and filmmaker from Greece, currently living and working in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I previously studied forestry and natural sciences. My love for nature soon led me to pick up a camera and capture it. After a while, I turned the camera away from nature and started seeking new stimulation, mostly from human relationships in western societies and urban environments. I have worked as a freelance photographer and videographer since 2010.

During my MA in Photography at AKV|St.Joost I am researching narrative structures in documentary photography, and the use of different platforms in these structures.
