Course: Visual Arts and Post-Contemporary Practice

With a BA in Media Art and Design from the Bauhaus-University in Weimar, I enrolled at the MIVC to explore further and deepen my art and curatorial practice. Inspired by light, transparency and water, I choose my mediums and materials according to the individual content of my work, shaped by the arena I work in and the viewer’s position within it. Collaboration and performativity are part of my making process, a tool for a connection that I am seeking. What drives me is exchange between space and body, art and life, depth and tangibility. After graduation I plan to continue working independently as an artist and in a small curatorial collective formed in this Master, as well as widen my professional skills in curation and art education at Dutch and international institutions or independent venues and organisations.
