Elena Lupoiu

Course: Situated Design

Elena is a graphic designer and photographer. Her main interest focuses on topics such as identity, care and collectives.  She obtained a bachelor's degree in Advertising and PR (Jaume I University, C. Valenciana, Spain), together with an Erasmus programme in Communication in Arnhem, The Netherlands. The choice of Situated Design pathway comes ¨due to its ability to blend in interdisciplinarity and opennness¨ .  For her graduation, she is working on a dance improvisation short film, where she is applying design theory in order to unfold folkloric narratives of a specific tradition from Romania.

 

After graduation, her intention is to dive more into the notion of collectives, eventually intending to form part of one. In parallel, she wishes to continue creating visual stories while shaping a stronger positioning.
