Course: Ecology Futures
After completing my BA Fine Arts at Minerva Art Academy in 2020, I applied to MA Ecology Futures to extend my knowledge of materialities. With an ever-curious attitude towards bio- and geochemistry, I explore the potential of living matter, biomaterials and other metamaterials, including their processes. Conceptually, I strive to deeply connect what this collision of matter can teach us about alternative and continuously transforming societies. To translate my artistic research, I investigate in a suitable medium to express the underlying narrative, usually in the form of photography and/or sculptural multi-sensorial installations. As soon as I graduate, I aspire to collaboratively find ways to communicate environmental urgencies to a broader audience and create mutual (non-)human connections.
