Naomi van Heemst

My name is Naomi and I am an illustrator and animator based in Amsterdam. Studying at the Master Animation has allowed me to explore and practice the craft of animated storytelling while also learning about and getting feedback directly from professionals in the animation industry. In the future, I hope to continue making my own animated short films but also work on bigger projects. For my graduation film, I’m researching (multi)cultural heritage and finding ‘home’ in your identity. Coming from a multicultural background myself, this is a personal subject to me that I hope others can relate to.
