Course: Visual Arts and Post-Contemporary Practice

Sounak Das is a mixed-media artist predominantly uses photography, moving images, sound and installations. His work embodies spatial context, the advancement of technology, and its impact on the Anthropocene age. Experimenting with the parameters of physical reality, his expressions mostly focus on philosophy which questions the presence of reality. SD has completed his Photography degree from Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, Dhaka, Bangladesh. With interest in science and technology and a desire towards metaphysics, he is currently pursuing a Masters in Visual Arts and Post Contemporary Practice in St. Joost School of Art and Design, Netherlands.
