Red Dino - Kees Koorevaar

Red Dino is a short coming of age story. The main character is a little kid with too much imagination who likes nothing better than playing outside and drawing whatever he imagines. When he has to go to school, his imagination is not appreciated by his classmates and teachers. The monotonous and lonely routine that's forced upon him every day makes him grow into a troubled teenager looking for a way out.

Kees is an illustrator and animator living in Groningen. In the past he worked on a childrens book, a myhological guide for local plants, animations and lots of concert posters. His colorful work is characterized by a love for nature and alternative music mixed with lots of fantasy.
