Maarten van Gageldonk

Maarten van Gageldonk teaches the Research Positioning module from MA Animation.

He holds an MA English Language and Culture, MA American Studies and a PhD in American Studies from Radboud University Nijmegen.

Gageldonk specialises in Visual Culture, Literature, Animation History & Theory. Among his projects, he has co-edited the book Animation and Memory for Palgrave in 2020, and is urrently working on a book on the history of Dutch animation. Gageldonk is also the Head of Program at Kaboom Animation Festival in Amsterdam.
