Partners & Platforms

The Institute has extensive connections with cultural and creative partners in the Netherlands and abroad, working closely with educational institutions, research centers and the growing creative industries sector.
We encourage interaction with the world beyond the walls of the Institute for a number of reasons. Firstly, our partners help us maintain an ongoing dialogue about developments in society and how these changes influence the field.
Secondly, external collaboration provides our students with the opportunity to apply their practice within a professional context. Public dissemination of research is an integral element of the curriculum; students regularly present their work through symposia, exhibitions and assignments executed in conjunction with our partners.
Finally, our relationship with our partners is a reciprocal one. The Master Institute believes that students have an important contribution to make to the contemporary landscape of creative practices. By engaging with the outside professional world, students add their research and experimentation to the development of projects and programmes, thereby actively shaping the profession and its future.
