The institute is currently housed in a former postal distribution centre in the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, just a ten-minute walk from the central station.
We are a locally grounded international community of learning and research. Since the establishment of the institute in 2017, we provide students with access to studios spaces. Currently 100 students from all over the world are enrolled on our master programmes. The educational facilities include a tech laboratory, a library, a well provisioned technical equipment loan facility, and the Social Space - a multifunctional area for our growing international community of students. Students learn to develop their practices with emerging technologies and creative software to create new perspectives and innovative forms of design and user experiences. Our workshop and technical facilities provide students courses in 3D visualisation, VR/AR, non-linear immersive and iterative storytelling, spatial design, and interactive media, as well as having access to workshops across film & photography, print, wood, ceramics and metal, which allow students to immerse themselves in innovative artistic development projects, and are supported by a team of experienced staff on hand.
